Studying The Effects Of Mercury Poisoning At School
, 03 14th, 2013
Before I landed on my major in college, I bounced around in different classes, trying to figure out what really appealed to me; I wanted to determine exactly what I wanted to do for my degree. One of the fields I checked out was health-related; though I didn’t land on a health-related major, I certainly learned a lot of interesting things that I didn’t know before.
I learned about the different aspects of the brain and how they can be affected by certain chemicals. I also learned how heavy metals affect the body and, more particularly, what the effects of mercury poisoning and other heavy metals are on the human body. Though I haven’t had to know this thus far, I think having knowledge like this could eventually be quite useful.
