What is PCA-Rx?
, 03 31st, 2011
It’s common for people to go through life collecting various toxins in their bodies without their knowledge. There are an abundance of everyday factors that contribute to the toxins absorbed by our bodies such as the air we breathe, the food we eat, disease vaccinations, prescription drugs and even Earth, the place we call home, can contribute to the degree of toxins of which we are exposed.
Fortunately, PCA-Rx is a breakthrough solution to toxicity in the body. It removes heavy metals from the body as well as harmful toxins. This solution may also rid the body of cardio and cerebral vascular plaque and lower elevated enzyme counts. Additionally, it can help those who suffer from environmental illnesses and is a less invasive alternative to chelation, a substance known to yield the same type of results.
What is Thimerosal?
, 03 29th, 2011
A mercury-containing organic compound, Thimerosal has been used in many vaccines since the 1930s as an agent of preservation. It has also been used in many biological and drug products. The use of this substance is intended to prevent life-threatening contamination, specifically the growth and development of harmful microbes, bacteria and fungi within the vaccine itself.
However, over the past several years there has been an increase in awareness about the theoretical potential for neurotoxicity of even the lowest levels. Debate has occurred over the increase in the number of infant vaccines that contain Thimerosal has also risen with concerned parents that question the effects of this preservation substance in their young children. Nowadays, Thimerosal had been completely removed from vaccinations for children 6 years of age and younger; only trace amounts of this substance could be found in any such vaccine.
Types of Autism ~ Part 2
, 03 25th, 2011
Childhood disintegrative disorder is another form of autism, which is more commonly referred to as autism spectrum disorders. These persuasive developmental disorders are typically characterized by varying degrees of impairment in social skills and general communication and may include restricted and repetitive behaviors. Rett syndrome is know to primarily affect females and is only seen in one out of every 10,000 to 15,000 people. This type of autism is also characterized by impaired communication and social skills as well as restricted and repetitive behaviors.
Rounding out this session of autism awareness is the final type of autism:. This category of autism is defined by delays in the development of socialization and communication skills. Parents may recognize such symptoms as early as infancy. Other symptoms may include a difficulty with changes in routine or changes in familiar surrounding as well as unusual play with toys and other objects.
Types of Autism ~ Part 1

Most people know that autism is a developmental brain disorder that affects the social interaction and communication skills of a person, usually starting around the time they are still a small child. Autism may also hinder the spectrum of activities and interests a person or child has interest in. However, what many people do not know is that autism is a disorder of varying degrees and types.
There are five different types of autism, including the classic case of autism, of which you can be diagnosed. First there is Asperger syndrome, which is a distinct group of neurological conditions that may be characterized by a greater or lesser degree of impairment in communication and language skills. It may also include repetitive behavior and restrictive patterns of thought and behavior.
Stay tuned for part two of autism education, which will highlight the remaining types of autism.
Scientists Develop Robot to Help Kids with Autism ~ Part 2
, 03 18th, 2011
To paint a more vivid picture about the impact of Kasper, the technological protégé of a group of scientists at the University of Hertfordshire, let’s examine his impact on a child. A 4-year-old preschooler learned how to be affectionate with her peers simply by playing with Kasper in regular 10-minute increments. The girl’s mother commented that her daughter is no longer timid when it comes to physical contact with other children and will even be the one to initiate a hug or a handshake.
While parenting a child with autism can deliver its own hurdles, Kasper was developed to help overcome some of these potholes for children with autism at an early age. Kasper aims to help bridge the communication gap between kids with mild to severe autism and their peers. Since Kasper’s debut in 2005, almost 300 autistic kids in Britain have played with him to help encourage the development of their social interaction skills.
Scientists Develop Robot to Help Kids with Autism~ Part 1

Designed to encourage the development of shared emotions and physical contact between young children, is a revolutionary, technological advancement that has parents raving about the positive impact it has delivered to their autistic children. Making its debut in a preschool for autistic children in Stevenage, England, Kasper is programmed to do things like smile, laugh, frown, blink and wave his arms. He was made by scientists at the University of Hertfordshire and costs about $2,118 US dollars.
The scientists who developed this treatment for autism hope that one day they’ll be able to mass produce this robotic buddy and be able to distribute him for a much lower cost, something close to a few hundred dollars. Among this group of scientists, Ben Robins, concludes that children with autism may not react well to people because they don’t comprehend facial expressions. However, Kasper – as well as other robots – are a safer option because there is less for them to interpret and they tend to be very predictable.
Alternatives to the Candida cleanse
, 03 11th, 2011
Although there their connection has not been proven from a medical standpoint, there is a high volume of supporting evidence that links the development of autism to Candida, a form of yeast. Not only is this yeast thought to cause autism, but many parents of autistic children believe that it additionally exacerbates many behavioral and health problems for children with autism.
A Candida cleanse has been used in the past to expel the overgrowth of such yeast from the body. However, with its alleged track record I would expect many parents to turn to alterative methods to rid the body of excess yeast as a solution. Antifungal medications provide a safe alternative to a Candida cleanse as well as the transition to a low-sugar diet and the introduction of other foods that are very low in yeast. There are many other ways to treat superfluous yeast, so it’s always best to research the safest method before engaging in a solution.
Helping Your Autistic Child
, 03 09th, 2011
While every child is unique in the way they learn and adapt to their surroundings, the same is true for children with autism. When it comes to searching for treatments for autism, there is no single protocol, however, many children with autism respond well to highly monitored sessions of behavioral therapy known as Applied Behavioral Analysis.
An applied science of behavior, Applied Behavioral Analysis came into existence in the 1930s under the theorizing of B.F. Skinner. While many of the sectors of ABA have been applied as autism treatments to children worldwide, the one that has proven to be most widely popular is the positive reinforcement method. It’s really as simple as it sounds; it asks that parents or educators of autistic children use something of value to follow an instance of good or requested behavior. This method has proven to be successful when applied to a wide range of skills.
Analyzing Mercury-Caused Vaccine Damage
, 03 03rd, 2011
The number of parents who have allowed their children to receive the MMR vaccine and/or other combinations of vaccinations and then watched as their child regressed in terms of physical and mental capability is staggering. The parents who have witnessed failure in the development of such behaviors of their children are high in number and frustrated in demeanor.
To these parents, it’s no secret that their child has undergone vaccine damage due to high level of mercury within the vaccine solution. Now, while it’s hard to refute such a claim to a parent who child has been recently diagnosed with autism, there is still no medical evidence as to support this theory. And this lack of supporting evidence only toys with the minds of new parents – is it safe to allow their children to get vaccinated?
Recent Study Gives Hope to Early Detection of Autism
, 03 01st, 2011
According to ABC News, a new study that links brain waves to autism has emerged into the field of science. The study took two groups of children; one group had an increased risk for autism because they had a sibling with autism and the other of children with no link to autism. Each group of children was given a test that measures their brainwaves. Scientists are hopeful that this new experiment will forever change the way that autism is detected among children.
Looking at the part of the brain that controls language and social interaction, scientists found in the group of babies with no link to autism that their neurons had high activity to connect those parts of the brain. This autism news found that babies with a link to autism showed less of a neuron connection in these parts of the brain. This study concluded that science can now determine with 80-pertcent accuracy whether a child is more at risk for autism.
