The Autism Research Institute is a group that funds research studies related to autism. They openly recognize that the rates of diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder in children is beginning to reach epidemic proportions and the causes are still unknown. However, one of the group’s goals is to defeat the misinformation that autism is something that cannot be treated.
The Autism Research Institute has a simple motto: autism is treatable. Through much autism research that the group has funded, they have helped to compile many ways that autism can be treated as well as operating as a support network for parents who have autistic children.
